Hi I am Jess Bertelsen. I grew up in Muriwai and have recently moved north.
I completed a Bachelor of Education at the University of Auckland in 2010 and I am currently enjoying my first year as a Provisionally Registered teacher here at Matakana.
Prior to beginning my teaching degree I spent time in both England and France working in education and outdoor activity centres with children aged from 4 to 19 years.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading, rock climbing and other outdoor activities.
