Matakana School is proud to annually support charitable organisations and their fundraising events. In 2012, we have chosen to support:
WORLD VISION : Sponsoring Rifa our World Vision Child and 40 Hour Famine
THE CANCER SOCIETY: Daffodil Day
NEW ZEALAND SURF LIFE SAVING: Jandal Day
2011 School Leaders Austin and Logan helped raise $450 for Surf Life Saving and our very own Omaha Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Students look forward to supporting our local Life Saving Club this coming December.
In June of 2012, several of our House Leaders were concerned with the flooding in Fiji and organised a colouring competition and t-shirt fundraiser.
Saturday 1st June (Queens Birthday Weekend), 8 – 11:30am. A great chance to sell and buy pre-loved clothes, books, toys and bric-a-brac. A sausage sizzle will be operating, $10 per site, and trestle tables can be hired for an extra $5
bookings can be made at the Matakana School office 422 7309 (booking is not essential, but it will help us to contact you if we have to cancel).

Please get as many friends and family to support Matakana School so we can get a large share of the $50,000 New World Warkworth is offering to local schools. Please read letter for more information and registration form.
